Madonna of the Streets Perpetual Enrollment
The Blessed Mother appears in the famous painting Madonna of the Streets, a comforting symbol of hope, love and sacrifice. An iconic Catholic figure, she also comforts people of all faiths in times of trouble and strife.
Glastonbury Abbey offers beautiful spiritual enrollments for living or deceased loved ones. Young Catholics may recall their parents and grandparents sending mass cards for prayer requests to family and longtime friends to offer prayers of healing, comfort or sympathy. This tradition is not just for Catholics, however. People of all faiths and spiritualities receive spiritual enrollments from Glastonbury Abbey, in keeping with our Benedictine tradition.
Donations from spiritual enrollments go to the care and good works of the Abbey in Hingham, Massachusetts, which all people are welcome to enjoy. Visitors and locals can participate in spiritually rewarding activities such as reading under a tree and meditating on the Great Lawn.
